We welcome all levels, regardless of age, ability and experience.  Classes and courses are suitable both for those new to yoga, and also to more experienced practitioners who wish to clarify their practice.  A variety of levels of courses are offered, however the intensity of the practice depends on the individual.

The actions, principles and experience gained in the practice of Dynamic Yoga is a valuable foundation, and can be beneficially applied to any form or style of  yoga practice.

The only requirement is openness to the experience, and a beginners mind.

We recommend that people do a foundation course either before doing or in conjunction with the Monday and Thursday Classes, although it is not totally necessary, it is more beneficial to you and your enjoyment.

The Dynamic Yoga Method  Foundation Level One

This course is suitable for those new to yoga and also more experienced practitioners who would like to clarify their practice.  Level Two courses will be available from February 2012, for those who wish to continue building on this firm foundation.  Many people choose repeat a level one again and again, there is much to be gained by this.

In this course, with sensitivity to the natural flow of breath, precise instruction) and high personal attention you will be guided through the vinyasakrama of the Dynamic Yoga Method, giving you the tools to open and reintegrate your body to new health promoting movement patterns. Simultaneously bringing you extensive benefits, both physical, psycological and on many other levels.

Throughout the weeks we will invite sensitivity (ahimsa), honesty (satya), openness (asteya), acceptance (aparigraha)and intimacy (bramacharya) into our practice, as we are progressively led through a sequence of interlinked asanas.  The yoga posture practice will be accompanied by the sensitising, awakening and revealing breath practices of Khaphalabhati, SushmaRishaka, SushmaRapuraka, and eventually through exploring the Dynamics of Integrity, we enquire into the possibility of the spontaneous nature of the Bandhas ( the single dynamic through interconnectedness), and move towards a practice embracing trust, passion, self-enquiry and immersion.

Cost: £60 for a 4 week course, or £18 for single classes

Inversions & Yoga Nidra, Unwind & Relax

This course will high light the benefits of doing  inversions as a way to decrease blood pressure and unwind into a relaxing evening. Each class will finish with a guided meditation called Yoga Nidra done in corps pose where you gradually become aware of each bodypart letting the body sink into Nidra (sleep) while remaining fully concious.

Thursdays 8.00pm – 9.00pm     (5weeks)

Cost: £65 for 6 week course
